Here are some exciting stats from Yahoo! Movies, where the TRANSYLMANIA trailer premiered last week:

The trailer received approximately 500,000 views starting from Friday 8/28/09 launch to Wednesday 9/2/09. It was the second highest trailer viewed on Y! Movies, behind NEW MOON, which was the highest with approximately 820,000 views. We beat out WOLFMAN (Universal), AVATAR (Fox) and INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (Weinstein Co.).

Suck it Cameron! Who is the King of the World now?! Well... probably still you. But, um... you're... uh... old.

Big news today... Transylmania will be coming to a theater near you on December 4th, 2009!

That's all the news we have currently - an official website, poster and trailer are forthcoming - but mark your calendars! I fully expect the whole world to shut down on Dec 4th. No one will show up for work or school. Capital Hill will be empty. There will be no crime, except maybe some people sneaking into the movie. Oh yes, it will be beautiful.

So the seminal super awesome awarding-winning* uber-classic film that Worm & Pat were hired to write a zillion years ago, Gamebox 1.0, is now available for free viewing over at Hulu.com!

If you're not already a Hulu convert, you should be. And if you haven't already seen Gamebox 1.0, well then, your life is an empty charade, cause it's obviously the greatest movie about a dude who gets trapped in a video game that isn't Tron ever. Plus it has Topanga from "Boys Meets World" in it.

So next time you need to kill an hour and a half, you know where to turn.

* Seriously, it won Best Screenplay and Best FX at this weird European festival. They obviously have superior taste over in Spain.

BATTLE FOR TERRA!

So Snoot Entertainment - who are producing Worm and Pat's next script (more details on that in coming months) - have a cool animated flic coming out May 1st called BATTLE FOR TERRA.

The movie is pretty choice, for a couple of reasons. One, it's in 3-D. And two, Worm provides the voice of tiny pink flying alien named Tuki for the film (and by voice, we mean annoying squeaking sounds).

DORM DAZE 4! Bootleg Edition

So recently Mr. Casey's sister Megan - who can been seen as the murderer of Guymoe's family in MAGMA HEAD - was in Thailand, leafing through bootleg DVDs of American movies, as one is want to do in Thailand, when she happened across this curiosity...

National Lampoon's DORM DAZE 4.

This obviously perked her interest, considering that DORM DAZE 3 isn't out yet and won't even be called DD3 when it is. Needless to say, she purchased the DVD.

With the help of a region-free DVD player we were able to determine that DORM DAZE 4 is in fact a film awesomely titled THE CONNECTICUT POOP MOVIE. The movie is unwatchablely stupid, even by DORM DAZE standards, so we never learned what great importance poop plays in the movie, but the film certainly fits into the same dubious sub-genre that our movie wallows in.

We can't imagine that the filmmakers behind the POOP had anything to do with the Dorm Daze thing; it is a Thai street bootleg after all. But the mystery still remains over why exactly someone wanted to commit this act of pointless, low-level fraud.

Whatever the backstory, we can't help but feel a little honored that some Thai street vendor was familiar enough with our stupid movies that he decided he could sell more copies of it pretending it was a DD sequel than he could with the admittedly more intriguing POOP MOVIE title.
